Dan's
Songbook came about because I got fed up with not having all my
songs in one place with decent chords attached to the lyrics.
So,
I set off round the internet, my brain, and anywhere else I could
think of to collect songs.
I went
a bit mad at this point and ended up collecting enough songs to
make up a 700 page songbook.
Format
The
book is a word for windows document and comprises two sections.
Section
1 is more heavyweight - folk songs, rock songs, humourous songs,
reggae, pop, yadda, yadda, yadda. The majority of Section 1 songs
have chords
Section
2 is more campfire songs - scout songs, cubs scouts and brownies.
None of Section 2 songs have chords as they are mainly three chorders
(i.e. D,G,A or E,A,B or C,F,G)
Mostly
you will find the chords are correct. Sometimes there will be mistakes.
If you find any - tell me and I will correct them.
